An interview with Dr. Thomas Insel—psychiatrist, neuroscientist, former director of the National Institute of Mental Health and Dr. Paul Appelbaum—psychiatrist and chair of the DSM-5 Steering Committee and the American Psychiatric Association.
That was interesting. Great job Sarah. I really liked how Dr. Insel followed up after you talking about not over-identifying with an illness and gave the examples of asthma or diabetes. "You think of those as medical issues, no a definition of who someone is." I really like knowing any mental health struggles I have had or will have definitely don't define who I am and I don't have to worry about living with them chronically forever!
Ooooh. I'm really looking forward to listening to this! Sounds like it will be a great conversation with various perspectives. My favourite kind!

I'm so glad you liked it! Yes, not necessarily chronic. It's such good news.
Fantastic Sarah. Can’t wait to give it a listen.
