Sarah,

When I first listened to Pathological (audio version), my own recovery was new and fragile. I'd often stated to myself the "if only" verses you did. A cure was out of reach, I was told, but a new psychiatrist, therapist, or med regimen would someday save me from myself.

My throat closed and my chest tightened as I related to you viewing your former PHP building. I've watched in awe as I've gotten to know you as a talented Substack entrepreneur and teacher. You've smashed the glass ceiling placed over all of us with mental health diagnoses.

I'm coming up on two years since my last hospitalization. I see in you a light in the darkness of a medical community that wanted to deprive me of a precious commodity...hope. May we both continue to thrive. I can't wait to read Pathological again, knowing how far you've come. And so have I. Congratulations on the relaunch and your amazing new life. You're living proof it's possible.
